An accurate narrative in the national conversation on race.

Your space for an open, honest conversation on race in the United States of America

Creating understanding through conversation

Dialogue on Race started in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, through community conversations. Founder and current President/CEO, Maxine Crump, saw the difficulty people had in talking about race, despite their desire to. She created an award-winning series, the Dialogue on Race Original series, that allows participants to lean into an uncomfortable topic and talk about race, learning at one’s own pace, together with others.

Companies and Organizations all across the United States bring Dialogue on Race programs to their employees and communities due to its unique approach found nowhere else!

Talk IS Action: A PSA from Dialogue on Race Louisiana

Open, honest dialogues can end institutional racism! Silence allows discrimination to thrive, but engaging in conversation disrupts it. Dialogue on Race provides the space for these supportive conversations, focusing on the systems and structures that have upheld racism in the United States.

“Talk is the first step in creating change at the institutional level. We’re not just talking to one another—we’re learning about the systems that perpetuate inequality.”
