Dialogue on Race Louisiana is excited to announce its partnership with CST MultiFamily Real Estate Services to host a special Holiday Happy Hour at The Reserve at Howell Place, a new affordable housing community in Howell Place in Scotlandville. The event will be held on Tuesday, December 12, at 5:30 p.m.
Dialogue on Race Louisiana is a national organization based in Baton Rouge that provides a one-of-a-kind space to talk about race.
The Reserve at Howell Place, a $70 million housing project by CST Multifamily Real Estate Services, is a groundbreaking development that aims to address the urgent need for affordable housing in East Baton Rouge Parish, where approximately 19% of residents lack access to affordable homes, according to Housing First Alliance.
Maxine Crump, President and CEO of Dialogue on Race Louisiana, stated, “Participants in the Dialogue on Race Series are asked where they see racism, what they would like to see done, and what they can see themselves doing. CST and Tom Delahaye seemed to have asked similar questions that led to building the $70M Reserve Housing Development in Scotlandville. Scotlandville is one of the many neighborhoods nationwide that has been impacted by a century of federal, state, and local government racially discriminatory housing policies.”
