The Presentation and Dialogue is a powerful one-time session exploring the history of racism and its impact on institutions, employees, clients, and communities. The 45-minute presentation visually describes race, highlighting key segments from our six-session Series. It delves into the historical origins and traces the through line to the present day, encouraging participants to reflect and engage with the information. The presentation is designed to:

  • Focus on highlights of the status of race in U.S. society.

  • Examine the historical origin and its relevance to the present.

  • Explore the impact on the specific industry for which the presentation is prepared.

  • Foster participant reflection and discussion through thought-provoking questions.

The Dialogue on Race Series

In the Dialogue sessions, participants join others in a focused conversation, equipping them with the tools and language necessary for meaningful discussions about race. The formatted and facilitated dialogue is conducted in groups of 15, providing a space for participants to process their thoughts and share their insights from the presentation. The format is designed to help participants:

  • Unpack the flawed understanding of race-related issues and their implications.

  • Enhance communication skills to engage in sensitive discussions.

  • Explore real-life scenarios and see practical strategies for addressing racial challenges.

The Original, Advanced, and Advanced Beyond Series are available to all organizations.
